Peterborough Court For Mace Interiors

SWS are pleased to be one of the sub-contractors working on the £120m green refit of the ex-Goldman Sachs headquarters, works have recently commenced on the former European HQ on Fleet Street and are underway for a mid-2024 finish.

Mace Interiors will remodel the 11-storey Peterborough Court building to create nearly 300,000 sq ft of Grade A workspace and ground floor retail.

The design strategy for the refurbishment of the iconic building has been driven by focusing on retention of fabric and structural elements, maximising lettable area and improving the energy efficiency of building operations to create a market leading offer for tenants.

SWS are currently providing CCTV drainage surveys and are in discussion with Mace interiors with regards the basement waterproofing that will be taken across three levels to make better use of the space below ground.

Regency Court for Kind Build

Project value: £7.1 million/Client: Victoria Park Housing Development Limited

Demolition of existing building to provide 32 residential dwellings consisting of 11 no. one bed, 15 no. two bed and 6 no. three bed flats. Brick and block external façade with reconstituted stone and architectural features. Hard and soft landscaping works. Green Energy provided by extensive green roof – wildflower roof system. Photovoltaics, with an environmental rating 36% above building regulations. Project currently in progress with practical completion in the next couple of months

SWS have been employed to provide various types of flat roofing design and installation throughout the project, including waterproofing to balconies and the installation of the green roof system at the development.

Coombe Road, New Malden for ARJ construction

This is an exciting and transformative project at 5-29 Coombe Road in New Malden. The contract will deliver a new £25.8m mixed-use development, including 79 apartments, 4 terraced maisonettes, a ground floor retail/commercial zone and a basement car park.

SWS have been contracted to provide a full flat hot melt and Green roof solution, We are currently on site working on this new development with our roofing team

Brighton Road Development for Skillcrown

A new development providing 79 affordable apartments for shared ownership and affordable rent, flexible commercial space, parking facilities and landscaping. Skillcrown recently instructed SWS to devise a Waterproofing Strategy and Design. We have completed this exercise and worked with the Architects, Engineers and the overall insure to provide a full solution. In addition to this we are now on site waterproofing the building toe, thresholds, and other detailed areas. The Brighton Road site is a large new development currently being undertaken by Skillcrown.
